You’ve created your own jersey concept? Sweet! AI-generate designs are awesome, but they often contain effects and details that cannot be reproduced exactly in print. We need to prepare your concept for real-world production.
To best recreate your design, we need you to separate key elements and send them to us. Following these three steps helps us take your AI concept and turn it into a pro jersey. The cleaner the files, the better the result.
STEP 1: Extract the Logo(s)
The first step is isolating team logos from the concept artwork.
Upload your jersey concept into ChatGPT or Nano Banana and use a prompt similar to the following:
Use the attached image as a visual reference only. Recreate ONLY the team logo shown in the design. Requirements: – isolated logo only – plain white background – no jersey, no model, no mock-up – flat colours – clean vector-style edges – centred artwork – suitable for print production. Do not include textures, lighting, shadows or fabric effects.
This process helps simplify the logo artwork into something that can be recreated cleanly in high resolution.
STEP 2: Extract the Background
Next, isolate the jersey background or pattern artwork.
Again, upload your concept into ChatGPT or Nano Banana and use a prompt similar to this:
Use the attached image as a visual reference only. Recreate ONLY the background shown in the design. Requirements: – no logos or text – seamless or large-scale artwork – minimum 6000px resolution – flat artwork (no lighting effects) – suitable for sublimation printing Tall 2:3.
This allows us to separate the visual background from the jersey structure itself and apply it properly to our production templates.
STEP 3: Confirn the Colours
Colour accuracy is extremely important when producing custom basketball jerseys.
To help confirm the correct tones, upload the concept into ChatGPT or Nano Banana and run the following prompt:
List the main colours used in this design and provide approximate HEX and RGB values.
This gives us a clearer understanding of the intended colour palette and helps improve consistency across the final printed garments.
