Another NBA season, another new bunch of threads hitting the courts. There have been quite a few released already, let's take a look.
Up on the plate first are the Philadelphia 76ers, who've reverted back to a simplistic design as a throwback to their once-proud history. In a time where a franchise's playing strip acts as an important marketing tool, the Sixers couldn't have chosen anything worse. We give these awful rags a season before they're canned.
The Charlotte Bobcats have tinkered with their uniform by removing the slant from their team name and numbering, and adding pinstripes. We're not a fan of pinstripes, but removing the horrible slant effect signals a marked improvement.
The Memphis Grizzlies have added a sleek alternate to their wardrobe. The basic design remains, with the primary colour changing to light blue, which is made particularly prominent by the use of shimmer material. Not bad.
Also opting for a colour change only are the Dallas Mavericks with this revised alternate. Previously seen in bright green, this P Diddy-designed strip looks even sweeter in blue.
Last but not least are the Houston Rockets, who've also travelled the popular path to unveil a fresh alternate design. These ketchup/mustard duds are sure to invoke many memories of the 80s ad 90s glory days featuring Hakeem Olajuwon. A big thumbs up from us.
With many more newbies to be unveiled during the coming season, stay tuned for all the latest updates as they come to hand.
