NBL Uniforms - the season's worst |
|
The 2007/08 NBL season is in effect, which means it's time to bring you the good and the ugly from around the country.
Who's rockin' the worst threads? Let's take a look at the three most horrible designs ....
3. Melbourne Tigers
Now we don't mind the 'swipe' effect, and we understand that the dollar is at a premium for any club, but DAMN talk about selling out. Is their any part of their uniform that the Tigers won't taint? FYI the reverse view is just as horrible.
2. Gold Coast Blaze
Firstly, this garish design will guarantee to give any epileptic severe fits. Whilst obviously wanting to align themselves with the successful Gold Coast Titans brand n opting for a light blue, the Blaze have shot themselves in the foot by adding orange as the secondary colour. UGH! Secondly, the design is completely unoriginal. Apart from the colours, it's exactly the same as the Singapore Slingers. Way to go fools!
1. Adelaide 36ers
This steaming pile from Adelaide gets our nod as the best of the worst in the NBL this season. Sure, money is tight for the club right now, but a well-designed strip costs nothing when you're spending hundreds of thousands of $$$ on your players. If we didn't know any better, we'd think their uniform was simply their training gear. Brett Maher must be thinking that this is the worst thing he has ever had to wear in his 374674 years at the club.
There we have it, the worst the NBL has to offer. Peep us next week when we announce our three favourites for the season. Peace!
